Wow so much has changed since my last post! Hmmm where to start..
October both hubby and I got laid off. Turned out to be just what we needed as I got pregnant literally days after being laid off. I had just hit the 50lbs of weight loss the month prior and was hoping it would enable us to have a baby and it worked!
I ended up taking a month off of school in December due to holidays and horrible morning sickness but then came back with a vengeance and finished up a few weeks back. Official graduation is May 12th! How exciting. I am looking forward to getting my actual certificate!
The baby is due August 1st though I have an inkling she will come the 2nd with the full moon. Yes I said she.. the ladies are taking over the house! So when itty bitty comes I will share a photo with you all of course.
Hm what else.. oh moving and natural crap!
Well I am still not washing my hair. I switched to using conditioner only washes in september. Google it, its really interesting and obviously works because noone could tell if I didnt say something. My hair is super soft and pretty and something I battled with shampoo is finally gone, dandruff! I am excited about that! It took some tweaking but the formula I finally came up with was 3:1 conditioner and water mix plus tea tree oil and a few tablespoons of ACV. Works fantastic and I do it maybe twice a week. The rest of the time I just water wash. The kids are doing it as well and love it.
Food wise, eating raw is kind of shot for now. I am sad about it but the baby is more important. I have to have high protein and it was just easier to do the brewers diet vrs raw. And cheaper. So for now that is what I am doing though I want to go back to 80% raw once baby is here.
Moving.. well hmm. There might be something in the works with that. We found a home with 15 acres of wooded land.. super excited and only 99k. Problem is our credit sucks. So we are going to beg hubbys grandma to help us with it. We will see what happens. If it works out I will end up with plenty of area to farm on, there will be plenty of wood to keep heating with wood and we can live even cleaner in the country! Keep your fingers crossed :)
As for the future, well I finally decided to pursue an undergrad and then med school. Now I am going to wait a few years in case we decide to have one more baby. Which is being talked about right now. If we do then I will wait till youngest is 1 and start at that point. But it is in the works and I am super excited about it.
I think thats it for now! I am sure I will have more tomorrow once I have slept and gathered my thoughts. Sorry its all jumbled but there was a lot to fit into one post! I will try to keep the rest of them more organized but I am not promising anything.

Sleep is totally over rated..
At least that is what I keep telling myself. Though god knows I am probably considered sleep deprived by now. Doesn't sleep deprivation make you delusional after a while? That would be kinda fun.

Attack incoming!!
This weekend has been pretty busy. I worked on the pool a little but not a ton.. more adding plants and fish plus playing with the waterfall location than anything. We went to lowes and I got a clothes line. I had a really rough time deciding if I was going to buy the retractable one, the plastic or the cotton.. holy crap. I chose the plastic, honestly because I figured it would not rot.

Popping the cherry!
Here I am writing my first blog post. I suppose I should first tell you a little about me. My name is Crystal, or Cris which is what I prefer. I have grown up in central Indiana my whole life and absolutely hate it. I live in the city, across from train tracks and under a plane landing route.. needless to say its noisy and blah.
I have been dreaming about living in the country for as long as I can remember and intend to make that a reality soon. In the mean time I am transitioning the family with the help of my equally crazy husband to greener living. Although he would certainly argue that I was much crazier than he.
